I have 2 pe. Bulk one with a casing of coco Core and with a casing of vermiculite! Neither are throwing muchroom and it's been a long time and they are both fully colonized I noticed mushrooms growing off the sides between the cake and plastic so I too them out and took the plastic off and flipped them upside down in a mano tub hopping they would come from the bottom and sides has anyone Hurd of this working? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180213/2cfce21049fdba1c4e848013564e8a0e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180213/0bc6a54bd9f0024e818456ba113ef18a.jpg

You can't upload pics from Tapatalk, which I'll be glad to see go when it happens.

PE generally takes longer to fruit, you didn't give any info on how long its been since you cased them.

Oh yes it' been over a month and I had just added a casing a few weeks ago! I may have done bad but I took the plastic wrap off and flipped it upside down in a mano tub because there were some growing off the side then felt like I messed up and flipped it back right side up! I guess I was hopping they would grow off the sides and bottom witch would become the new top! Is that posable? My casing is just coco core!

Yeah I've never heard of anyone flipping the cake upside down a couple times, which may have stressed or bruised it and caused it to stall. Patience is an important key to this hobby.

Personally I use a 50/50 mix for casing. Peat moss and verm. It stays fairly aerated and holds moisture well.

If its not contaminated then you could just keep misting and fanning until either pins appear or it tams.

Thank you! For the helpful advice! Would one think of breaking up a bulk cake into many smaller bulk tubs and have them recolinize other bulk?

I just picked like 140gs wet. And I'm going to keep the fan blowing on it all night in an attempt for evaporation, I can only imagine my grow when I do this correctly. 😂😂😂😂😂 Those were going to be large boomers 😢😢😢

It’ll do much much better if you can find a way to incubate that bag at 80-82f. You wanna get that fugger colonized as quickly as possible. Plus the longer it sits , the more things can lose moisture content. Otherwise, I would only give the colonizing grains one gentle fondling mix at about 20% or so then leave it be. A second mix/shake at 70% is unnecessary and  can actually stall things

You gotta pick those fruits immeadiatly then. You’ll be ok, as long as you haven’t used chlorinated/ flouridated tap water (it’s a destroyer in my experiences). If it’s pure water , let that water soak in for a few hours or so, then do your best to carefully dump it out.Maybe lean the tub on end for a bit.  I always recase my subs with  fresh 50/50 Casing Layer, because I’ve washed away my prior casing with my Dunk process.

Thank you Phish!!!!  I may have of fucked it all up by dousing the whole thing with water already 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm letting a pretty high powered fan blow into the tank rn.

Keep an eye on those fruits and pick them when the veils begin to break. Likely within the next day or so. Don’t expect any more pins on your first flush. That’s it.  Mushrooms are 90-92% water weight. A heavy flush will leave a sub depleted of moisture and drier than a popcorn fart. You, my friend, don’t need to be concerned with that with this flush. I would do exactly like MZ says with the spray bottle on that sub. That sub should have a lotta Wooooo left to go 😉👍
