Green, Black bad, what about grey?

Question

ShroommoorhS

I pressure cooked these cakes for an hour and a half, then inoculated them with a spore print I made. I made about 7 of these and they all have this grey stuff mixed amongst the white. Can I take a chance on these or should I ditch them?

It keeps saying the attachment fails, I cant get the picture in here. I cant delete it either. If I click on the link it does nothing, however if I paste it into my browser it does show up.

If the file is too big as in 5 MB roughly or larger then it won't upload.

I have gotten around this by just doing a screen shot of the same pic which drops the size down to where it'll upload usually.

Like Mushinist said, you will want to look at the file size of your image. If it says something like ???kb, then you should be good to upload it.

Yeah I have found anything over 5MB won't upload. If your on PC you can just resize it on paint and then save and it will drop the file size.

As for your picture. Toss that Jar.
And if all of the jars have that same growth toss the print.

I just picked like 140gs wet. And I'm going to keep the fan blowing on it all night in an attempt for evaporation, I can only imagine my grow when I do this correctly. 😂😂😂😂😂 Those were going to be large boomers 😢😢😢

It’ll do much much better if you can find a way to incubate that bag at 80-82f. You wanna get that fugger colonized as quickly as possible. Plus the longer it sits , the more things can lose moisture content. Otherwise, I would only give the colonizing grains one gentle fondling mix at about 20% or so then leave it be. A second mix/shake at 70% is unnecessary and  can actually stall things

You gotta pick those fruits immeadiatly then. You’ll be ok, as long as you haven’t used chlorinated/ flouridated tap water (it’s a destroyer in my experiences). If it’s pure water , let that water soak in for a few hours or so, then do your best to carefully dump it out.Maybe lean the tub on end for a bit.  I always recase my subs with  fresh 50/50 Casing Layer, because I’ve washed away my prior casing with my Dunk process.

Thank you Phish!!!!  I may have of fucked it all up by dousing the whole thing with water already 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm letting a pretty high powered fan blow into the tank rn.

Keep an eye on those fruits and pick them when the veils begin to break. Likely within the next day or so. Don’t expect any more pins on your first flush. That’s it.  Mushrooms are 90-92% water weight. A heavy flush will leave a sub depleted of moisture and drier than a popcorn fart. You, my friend, don’t need to be concerned with that with this flush. I would do exactly like MZ says with the spray bottle on that sub. That sub should have a lotta Wooooo left to go 😉👍
