Screaminkay 6
I’m gonna be adding some colonized grain spawn to my garden beds most likely blue oyster and king stropheria so I can Have some edibles out of it (had a bunch of stink horns last year so gonna try and out compete those) but my question is has anyone tried adding lions mane to garden beds? Or are they primarily grown in logs?
Mush Zombie 26425
Lions mane is grown on logs, or bag logs. It wont grow out of the ground.
Screaminkay 6
Thanks! Guess that will have to wait until I set up a Martha then.
Mush Zombie 26425
just spawn it to bags, poke some holes in the bag once its colonized and put it outside in a shady area. if they would grow outside where you are naturally they will grow like that too. or you could also use a 5 gallon bucket instead of a bag as well.
