E. Novo Plants From Seed

This has been my 3rd attempt trying to germinate E. Novo seeds, pretty much the same as the coca plant only legal. Apparently chewing the leaves will still give you a buzz and a boost of energy. The 1st 2 attempts at germinating them failed, they never sprouted and molded out. Then I got a small plant about the size of the plants I have now, but managed to kill it within a week.

Here are my 2 babies now, finally properly adapted to my environment. I live in a dry desert climate, and these come from the jungle where the humidity is much higher. I started the seeds in wet paper towels until I saw the taproot shoot out, then I planted in Solo party cups in some Ocean Forest mix (potting soil should work too). I then put plastic jugs with the bottoms cut out over the party cups until they were tall enough to almost reach the top of the jugs. Here are the jugs I used:

 

To get them used to my climate gradually, I first loosened the caps, maybe for a week, then took them half off so there was a crack in the lid for air to get in, then I took the cap off completely for about a week. After that they did fine without the jugs on at all, fully adjusted to my drier climate. They are in my marijuana veg room under T5 lights (6500k), so the humidity is probably in the 40's in that room with all the other plants in there.

Anyway, I am really happy I finally got these things to pop and grow in my desert climate, so I thought I would share. Eventually I want them to be large house plants in 5-10 gallon pots by a sunny window. No one will ever know what they are unless I tell them

Very nice! I had to acclimate my salvia divinorum cuttings to dry weather too. I let them out into the dry air for an hour a day, increasing by one hour each day. In less than a month, they didnt need their humid box anymore and are now flourishing in the shady area against the wall of my shed.

How old are those, I know they take forever to grow. Just curious for comparison reasons.

The plants in the original post are probably about 3 months old. They haven't grown that much since. I transplanted them into 5 gallon air pots in some notill soil I made last year for my cannabis. They look like they are still adapting to the new soil mix but are still alive

There was only 2 that sprouted from 25, the rest did just like you said some of yours did, they just molded and didn't do anything. The 2 that are still alive seem to be doing fine, they're just slow AF! I'll just keep blasting them with the 6500k bulbs in the meantime.
