First grow. Grain spawn is fully colonized. Few noob questions.

I started with 2 1lb grain bags and 1 made it all the way through.  I have a 5lb bag of bulk substrate and plan on using a sterilite box for fruiting.

I have a few questions.

1) The 5lb bulk substrate bag has been sitting for 2 months, it's sealed but could it have dried out too much by now?

2) I've seen people soaking the myc cakes prior to adding it to the bulk, should I do this?

3) Can the colonized grain spawn be handled in non sterile conditions at this point?

4) For a 1lb bag of fully colonized grain spawn, how much bulk substrate should I use and what size bin should I use? I was looking at a 6 quart sterilite plastic container.

5) Are the chances of contamination at this point, after adding the spawn to bulk, greatly diminished or do I still need to proceed in a clean/sterile environment?

Thank you!
